About Us

Rajanna Foundation (erstwhile Rajanna Trust registered in 1999) is inspired by the work and life of farmer, reformer, fighter and leader of masses, teacher and mentor, social worker, poet, playwright, novelist & philosopher, legislator, parliamentarian and Raja Guru, Sri P Rajagopal Naidu (1920-1997), fondly called as Rajanna.

The Foundation is the CSR arm of the $1.75 billion Amara Raja Group and was formed to carry forward Rajanna’s ideologies and philanthropic activities to the communities at large.

As the CSR wing of the Amara Raja Group, the Foundation is instrumental in executing group's social responsibility activities in the areas of Education & Literacy, Skills development, Health & Nutrition, Environment & Natural Resource Management, Food and Agriculture, Art & Culture, Village Development, Employment, Rural Development & Poverty Alleviation, Women Development & Empowerment, and more.
